House Location and General Information

Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Orahovac, Montenegro, stands a beautiful old fisherman’s house, exuding charm and history.
Its weathered stone walls and rustic wooden shutters tell tales of a bygone era, reflecting the rich maritime heritage of the region. With breathtaking views of the sparkling Adriatic Sea, this enchanting house offers a tranquil retreat, where the scent of salty sea air and the gentle sounds of lapping waves create a serene atmosphere.

The house itself is a culturally and historically significant object from the 19th century, possessing architectural and ambient values, and is located in an area protected by UNESCO (definition from the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments).
The house has a central façade facing the sea and consists of three levels.

Eight

All furniture is unique, custom-made, handcrafted from hundred-year-old teak beams.
It was produced on the island of Java and, together with all other interior elements (exclusively natural materials such as stone, wood, brass, wrought iron, carpets, hidden indoor air conditioning units, and televisions), creates an ambiance of long-gone, old, good times.
In front of the house, under a pergola made of old beams, there is a table made of solid dolomite stone with wooden benches for 10 people, stone stationary planters with Mediterranean plants and flowers, a palm tree, a play area, a garden fountain with a sink, and sun loungers.

Yard also contains summer kitchen with built-in cooking stove, oven, microwave oven, and a small refrigerators, as well as Turkish bath located in two separate objects.

All bathrooms are tiled with natural stone, with sinks also made of a single stone piece e and retro-style faucet are from renowned Italian manufacturers.

We can provide one parking space in the parking area in front of our property, just a few minutes’ walk away.

Ground Floor

The ground floor features a main kitchen with a large refrigerator (including a freezer), built-in cooking stove, dishwasher, a table with eight chairs, a three-seater sofa, television, and stylized drink shelves.
In the visually isolated space between the house and the auxiliary building, there is a water reservoir in case of any restrictions or issues with the water supply.
The stone flooring has underfloor heating, and all rooms are air-conditioned. A circular staircase made of wrought iron with solid oak steps leads to the upper floor…

First Floor

First floor contains a master bedroom that has its own bathroom with a shower cabin.
The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, wardrobes, bedside tables and TV.
Children’s crib san be added as needed.

Second Floor

On the second floor there are two smaller rooms with queen size beds and wardrobes.
There is also a bathroom with a shower cabin, which can be accessed from both rooms.
